The Kawasaki Ninja 400 has to be the best way to ease into your first Trackday with its light weight, accessible power and outright comfort.  By starting with a 400, you will experience riding at its most pure by limiting the sensory overload that is a first Trackday. 

These bikes have every bit the cornering capability of the big bikes without the brain-scrambling speeds and hard braking stress. You will be able to focus on the important aspects of track riding: Bike Placement (hitting your apexes), optimizing your turn entries and exits by smoothly applying brake and throttle inputs, and correct body position.  Plus, there's nothing quite like passing slower riders on bigger bikes around the outside of turns! 

We here at Apex Adventures personally use Ninja 400s as our main coaching and training bikes to keep our skills sharp.

Our 400s are all fully track prepped, removing all of the street components, including head/tail lights, turn signals, mirrors and OEM bodywork as well as fully safety wired for all Trackday organization skill levels.  They are outfitted with upgraded rearsets (footpeg assemblies), clip-ons (handlebars) and stainless steel brake lines front and rear to enhance their track setup.  We run track-approved Engine Ice glycol-free coolants and Pirelli Supercorsa SP tires.
